Step into the vibrant world of the Orange Glou Wine Fair, a dazzling spectacle that first graced the streets of NYC back in 2022. It’s a jubilant ode to orange wines, those enigmatic elixirs currently captivating the palates of wine aficionados worldwide. And no, theyâre not actually made from oranges â instead, theyâre made with white grapes but in the style of red wines, where the skins and seeds are kept in contact with the juice after pressing to give the wine its orange hue and unique, dynamic flavor profile. These wines are a kaleidoscope of flavor, all-natural, organic, or biodynamic, and lovingly crafted by independent artisans. The fest invited you to embark on a vinous voyage guided by the maestros themselves, hailing from the sun-kissed vineyards of California to the ancient territories of the Republic of Georgia, where this vinicultural artistry first began over eight millennia ago. And what’s a Los Angeles wine festival experience without delectable fare to tantalize the taste buds? Cue SimĂłn Mexican Seafood Truck, a gastronomic delight rated a resplendent 8.5 by the discerning critics at The Infatuation.
